Band I like

One of my favorite groups is the "Bay Group".
The music they perform is of the Colombian Pacific region. The band is composed of various musicians born in the region. Belonging to the municipality of Guapi cauca in Colombia. He is the musical director Hugo Candelario González.
The instruments used by them are;

• Marimba of Chonta (It is a xylophone).
• The Guasas
• The tow drums (one female and one male).
• The a conuno (cylindrical Drum)
• Singing voice. (cantadoras woman`s or cantador man).
• and modern musical instruments. (guitar, saxophone and clarinet).

Genres Musical excecuted (or rhythms):

• Jugas
• Bundes
• Currulados
• Agua-bajos
• Abosa´o

these rhythms are traditional. They talk about the local culture, love, They talk about the local culture. love, dreams, realities on the trabjo at sea, the oldest experiences. You can also dance. There are dances for religious funeral ceremonie and births.
The first video is traditional music and  second video is merging with other non-traditional instruments of the region.
